This is for my Ugg boot, cozy sweater, warm cocoa, and leaf-lovin' readers. Fall is around the corner. With the cooler weather comes more foot traffic and indoor dust. It’s especially important to sanitize and disinfect your home as the temperature drops.
Here’s a brief checklist to start!
Clean the windows inside and out
Disinfect, clean, and store outside furniture and gardening equipment
Disinfect mattresses
Donate old clothes
Dust light fixtures and ceiling fans
Do laundry
Inspect the outside of your home
Mop all floors
Reorganize/tidy closets
Sanitize and disinfectant all surfaces
Throw out expired items from cabinets and refrigerator
Vacuum all floors and under all furniture and bedding
Wash and refresh winter bedding that has been stored
Wash or replace shower curtains
Check for any mold or mildew in the bathroom or areas with moisture
Wash/clean bathroom floor mats
